About

About AVMS: The Alaska Vintage Motorcycle Show is an annual event showcasing a huge selection of vintage bikes alongside live music, food and great community. This event is my way of helping promote the preservation of motorcycles and the relationships developed through building in community. AVMS celebrates making genuine connections with people from all walks of life, bound together by a mutual appreciation for building something awesome. Registration for AVMS 2017 will close at midnight on June 7, 2017.

Support for AVMS: All AVMS registration fee proceeds help support Valley ABATE, an organization that facilitates the motorcycle safety courses here in AK. Valley ABATE is a large part of what keeps the show running smoothly and we are so grateful to have their support. Be sure to stop by their booth and thank them for all they do!

Special Guests: We are excited to have Elvis join us at AVMS 2017! He will be performing at the show and available for photos. Keep an eye out for him at the Valley ABATE booth and be sure to tag AVMS in all of your Elvis photos on social media. Anyone who shares a photo of themselves with Elvis at the show (and tags us in it) will be entered to win a $50 gift card to Palmer City Ale House!

Here are some highlights from AVMS 2015 + 2016!

  1. Motorcycle owners are the only individuals to touch their motorcycles during the event. Custody of the motorcycle will always be in the hands of the owner.
  2. Alcohol is permitted in designated areas only. This is for the safety of both the machines and the people attending the event.
  3. There is a designated loading and unloading area. Motorcycles are prohibited from being driven on the grass. Please see the "location" section below for directions on how to enter the event correctly. Entry fees and check-ins will take place at this central location. Pirates (participants who arrive at the event without pre-registering) will not be permitted to attend the show.
  4. If you have any questions, please ask! Several volunteer staff members will be on-hand to answer questions, promote safety and ensure the smooth operation of the event.
